John Williams: Celebrating the Music of a Hollywood Legend

For more than half a century, John Williams has written the soundtracks to our dreams, and tonight, award-winning American movie conductor maestro Richard Kaufman, direct from Hollywood presents a blockbuster tribute to the king of film music.  Star Wars, Jurassic Park, E.T. – this is music that never loses its power to thrill, performed by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.

Pre-concert talk: Conductor Richard Kaufmann gives an insight into the world of film music.  The Kathleen Ferrier bar will be open from 1.30pm with the talk commencing on the raked seating at 2pm.  Please note these talks are free of charge and non-ticketed.  Capacity is limited and entrance will be on a first-come first-served basis.
